The EdTA selected the fourth annual Amy Bennett Musical Theatre Scholarship in June at the International Thespian Conference in Lincoln, NE. Presenting this award and meeting the recipient is so thrilling for us. There are no words to convey the excitement that is felt as this scholarship is presented each year. A HUGE congratulations goes to this year’s recipient, Mitchell Lewis, a graduate of Floyd Central High School. Mitchell now attends Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he pursues a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. He would definitely like to thank his parents and his old mentor, Chris Bundy, for helping him discover such a brilliant art. Theatre has always been a love for Mitchell and now he plans to inspire and connect with audiences for the rest of his life.
