The time I spent with the Bennett family during the holidays is a real treasure. Chris and I would arrive after a long drive from California, and the whole house was full of energy. The family was full of jokes and love-filled jabs, and Amy stood out as being especially full of playful humour and laughter. Amy's personality was truly one of a kind, I remember being caught completely off-guard by how infectious her laughter was and how amazing she was at playing a part to great comedic effect.
I remember driving up to Flagstaff with the family, over to Sedona with Chris and Amy, and back down to the Metro, and the main road soundtrack that kept coming up was a mix of Disney songs. I remember feeling that I had never had so much fun during a long drive before, as I did listening to the family sing those Disney Songs. To my memory, Amy was especially vocal when those songs came on, and she had such a beautiful voice.
Looking back I can see clearly that Amy loved the journey as much as she loved the destination. A simple car ride was a chance to joke with her brother, sing some songs, and marvel at the beauty of the countryside. Wherever Amy is now, whatever journey she is on, she is filling it with beauty and a celebration of life that causes joy to leap up from the hearts of those around her.
I remember this trip as well! She can loved every minute of our time together ! So glad you Could be part of it!
